Steve and Marina Capps
Go to the Circus, March 2003

To start the circus off, there was a BIG parade - Lots of dancing, and plenty of fun things to look at.

-----

Here's the Lion Tamer. The lions did some neat tricks. I wanted to watch everything, so I missed most of the great photo opportunities. But the Circus was really fun, and really exciting. I wish I could go again, and this time just take photos. I would have over 200 exciting photos then!!! But mostly I just watched, and had a great time. This was really a good, good, circus.

-----

The elephants did great things.
The lady Elephant trainer was beautiful
She belted out commands and cracked the whip like nobody's business.

-----

Boy, I am glad I am not the elephant on the bottom!

Here's part of the elephant walk parade.

There were LOTS of really fantastic parts of the circus that I didn't get photos of. I wanted to watch and have fun, not to concentrate on the camera. The trapeze artists were very good - they were flying left and right, left and right, again and again, and yes, one fell, but it was over a net.

The most exciting part of the whole circus was "Crazy Sam" or something like that, I am not sure of his name. His act was near the end of the show, in a fantastic huge rotating pinwheel kind of machine, flying in the air over 40 feet high, no net, I can't even describe it. It was heartstopping. I have seen this machine and this act before, but this was the best one at it I have ever seen. I wish I had photos, but I just watched and watched - it was too good to get the camera out and try to take photos.

Okay, that's all for now. I will send out more good stuff later, who knows when, who knows about what?
